Tasks and Qualifications:
- Responsible for Manufacturing and supporting operations for 4 sites in US and Mexico assuring the customer order fulfillment across assigned locations.
- Develop and execute the Americas strategy to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Set performance targets and monitor performance to annual and strategic goals.
- Coordinate with all areas: commercial, project management and customer aspects, supply chain, engineering, etc. to guarantee the areas to focus in โone team, one goalโ Activities to support Safer, Faster, Better, Quicker and Happier Operations in the Region.
- Define and implement new technologies, processes, and tools that will support world-class manufacturing performance.
- Work to create global manufacturing footprint, including consistency in processes, standards, reporting, safety, etc. This is the AMCS leader, driving global definition with regional peers and regional adoption.
Education:
- Bachelorโs degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field,
- MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- Training and certification in Lean manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools preferred
Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven manufacturing operations success in the Region
- Expert knowledge and experience in Lean 6 Sigma practices and training techniques
- Experience in turnaround, and start-up situations
- Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems
- Skilled performance coach with the ability to build strong, cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Ability to network and communicate with all levels of the company and across the globe
- Visionary, continuously updating industry knowledge
- Innovative and able to challenge the status quo
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; day-to-day management and communications is a must
- Experience with employee and labor relations
- High attention to detail with solid organization, project management, and planning skills
- 10+ years of overall manufacturing management experience
Experience – exposure in international โ global environment
