Due to reconfiguration of the paediatric dietetic service, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Mid Yorkshire NHS trust for a Specialist Paediatric Home Enteral Feeding Dietitian to join our small dynamic team.
You should have experience working as a Paediatric dietitian preferably with some experience working with children requiring Home enteral feeding .
The post is permanent, full time, band 6, based at Pinderfields hospital (Wakefield) and will include covering the childrenโs ward, clinics at Pontefract and Dewsbury hospitals, specialist schools, home visits within the community.
You will have a varied HEF caseload (0-19 years) but may be required provide cover for the general paediatric dietitians.
You will require good communication and multi-disciplinary team working skills.
You will need to be flexible as work areas may change.
The dietetic department is fully committed to CPD and clinical supervision. As we take A, B and C students from Leeds Beckett University, the post holder will also be expected to take an active role in supporting our student training programme.
The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is well situated in the heart of West Yorkshire, with excellent travel links being located close to the M1 and M62 motorways and rail networks. The Trust is in close proximity to Leeds and its renowned shopping, museums and theatres, as well as being just a short distance from the Yorkshire Dales.
