We are looking for outstanding business minded personnel to join our rapidly growing startup on a part-time basis and bring creative ideas to the table to enhance our vision for the company. We are looking for anyone who would like an opportunity to be part of a company that will soar in the government contracting arena. Veterans and Minorities are highly welcomed at our establishment. This is a remote, part-time, commission based position. You will be an integral part of our core team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  • Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
  • Review government contracts and submit RFP’s & RFQ’s
  • Ability to navigate federal and state systems for bids and opportunities
  • Works with Sam.gov and all government sites
  • Create bids and proposals
  • Manage vendor relationships and create new vendor relationships
  • Submit bid opportunities for projects
  • Solicit contracting opportunities for commercial prospects
  • Ability to read and comprehend government contracts
  • Manage subcontracting projects with
  • Review capabilities statement prior to bid submission(s)
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial
  • Networking amongst industry
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • This is a commission based position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • 3+ years’ of sales or account management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a leader
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to learn on the fly

  • English proficiency – spoken and written
  • Experience with WAWF and/or GSA is a plus
