The Internal Recruiter will specialise in the recruitment of Paralegals primarily, and will be the main point of contact onsite and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Hiring Managers and managing the full lifecycle of the requisition process including requisition intake, shortlisting, sourcing management, onboarding, worker assignment management, time and expense management, offboarding and reporting.

The Internal Recruiter acts as a talent advisor to support hiring managers through the requisition fulfillment process to ensure quality talent is acquired in a timely manner.

We are very open to applications from those with relatively little recruitment experience which will ideally have been either in an in-house environment or working within an agency environment recruiting for the legal sector. As well as recruiting for a high volume of paralegals, you will also support with some contractor recruitment in other areas e.g. Technology, Legal and HR as welll as supporting with permanent recruitment when capacity allows.

Responsibilities

  • Assist client managers during all stages of the contractor and temp acquisition process including: requisition intake, sourcing, and candidate shortlisting and interviewing
  • Demonstrate recruitment expertise by preparing insightful questions appropriate for the position prior to conducting requirement intake session with hiring managers to gather detailed job descriptions to advertise and when needed, share with agencies
  • Document requirement intake conversations in appropriate database
  • Assist client managers during all stages of the contractor and temp acquisition process including: requisition intake, sourcing, and candidate shortlisting and interviewing
  • Utilise reports to manage open requirements to advise managers on status of requirements and monitor supplier sourcing strategies to ensure timely response
  • Discuss with HM agree upon expectations, timeframes, feedback, roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in the requisition fulfillment process
  • Document all client/ supplier reported issues and track resolution through to completion ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in HR case system.
  • Monitor performance against contract SLA’s , requisition aging, invoicing, time and expense entry and vendor compliance tracking
  • Maintain and update monthly activity and performance reports
  • Provide constant interaction via face to face, email and phone with client, staffing vendors, contract personnel and other partners
  • Assist with worker assignment management (cost centre changes, extension of contract assignments etc.) to improve data integrity
  • Liaison with managers, vendors to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and collected prior to starting assignments and at end of assignments
  • Ensure all work orders are closed or extended in the system with accurate finish reasons when notified of an end of assignment and appropriate departments are notified.
  • Assist and monitor time and expense entry to ensure appropriate approvals occur by hiring managers by required deadlines
  • Constant interaction with vendors to ensure new hire paperwork is completed in a timely manner to avoid onboarding delays

About you

  • Functional computer skills and software knowledge, prior experience in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to write and present client-oriented communications e.g. emails, job descriptions.
  • Prior experience in high-volume/ MSP/ contract end-to-end recruitment within the staffing industry or Corporate HR, preferably with a global organization.
  • Prior experience conducting behavioural based interviews.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
