Robert Walters is working with a multinational company who is looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Accountant – Bank reconciliation to join their team based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate is able to work comfortably with numbers and has an exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Banking messages are successfully incorporated into SAP
• Manually record bank statements for bank accounts
• Analyse and allocate open cash movements to teams, provide support and track timely clearings
• Request monthly petty cash sign off
• Issue daily status reports of unreconciled cash
• Respond to queries regarding cash clearing process
• Work closely with stakeholders including external and internal auditors to provide information when required
• Assist team leader with monthly closing procedures

Requirements:

• Must be a Bachelors in Finance or Accounting with qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA or CMA)
• Candidate should have working experience in accounting or bank/cash reconciliation processes
• Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payables principles
• Experience with SAP systems
• Proactive and independent, able to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Must be based in the UAE

Desired Skills and Experience
