EDUCATIONAL, CERTIFICATE and LICENSE REQUIREMENTS CA state License for RN Active, unencumbered Registered Nursing (RN) Licensed by board of profession in state of practice is required Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing required BLS or ACLS for healthcare providers required EXPERIENCE, SKILL and ABILITY REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Support Rite Aid’s efforts in the pandemic by administering the COVID19 vaccines and monitor patient for potential adverse reaction to the COVID19 vaccine Travel to stores and to clinics within the division to administer the COVID19 vaccine. Review, collect and file patient information, replenish vaccine supplies, organize vaccination paperwork and reference materials, and any other duties required during vaccination administration Assist in organizing and facilitating workflow of COVID19 vaccine clinics JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The primary purpose of this Temporary RN Vaccine Immunizer position is to provide support with immunization efforts (COVID-19 vaccine & booster, flu vaccine and any other vaccines ) while providing excellent customer service and genuine care to our customers. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all essential duties in a safe manner consistent with Rite Aid policies and state and federal laws. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
