Title of Role: HR Advisor Department: People experience(PX) Reports to: Senior PX Manager Senior PX Manager (Operations) – UK & Ireland Location: Leeds Leeds (Hybrid remote) with travel to other regional offices (if and when required) Trimble is an industrial technology company, concentrated on helping the world work, better. Main purpose of role/Position Summary: This role will provide comprehensive and customer focused PX support to their assigned business area and other regional offices across the UK & Ireland as required. Working closely with management teams you will coach, educate and advise managers on best practice regarding our people related practices. This will include being involved in managing employee relations, performance management, PX policies and procedures and advising on general PX queries, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and professionally. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with assigned business areas. Work in partnership to understand current PX needs and act as point of contact for all PX related queries
  • Provision of operational PX support across other UK & Ireland divisions
  • Management of ER cases through to completion
  • Coach line managers, providing them with expert information, advice and support on the full range of employment legislation and PX activities (including policies,procedures, terms and conditions of employment, performance management etc)
  • Support with organisational design and restructuring, as required.
  • Partner with line managers as and when required to provide support and advice on hiring practices
  • Provide operational support with onboarding and offboarding
  • Support PX projects and initiatives as when required, which may include wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives
  • Keep up to date with employment law changes and consider the impact on company policies
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time The role requires an estimated 20% travel requirement to other sites in the UK or other off site meetings. Qualifications and Experience: ? Part or fully CIPD qualified ? A strong generalist HR background with experience of managing ER cases is ideal ? Need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and regular change ? It would be great if you have some experience gained in a multi-site, matrixed environment ? Experience of working as part of a close HR team with a proven track record of partnering with managers ? In depth understanding of employment law and restructuring ? Excellent commercial awareness and understanding ? Experience of change management and successfully supporting management teams through organisational change activities Job Description/Person Spec Specific Skills required: ? Able to coach managers and provide sound HR advice in line with policy and legislation ? High level of competence and experience with HR systems ? Have good spoken and written communication skills ? Respect the importance of confidentiality, to professionally deal with employees personal details ? Able to prioritise, plan and organise workload and is able to push back or escalate where required. ?
