We are looking to expand our talented Technology Team and looking to hire a driven and passionate System Administrator who would be instrumental in maintaining the internal IT infrastructure for existing and future professionals.About YouThe System Administrator will be a part of the Technology team and will be instrumental in creating and supporting the broad requirements of the companies IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Platform Owner and working closely with the DevOps Engineer, the System Administrator will be required to provide 1st and 2nd line support and to maintain, upgrade and manage our software and hardware, manage telephone accounts, and assist with virtualized infrastructures.Working as part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software life cycle, you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for internal and external customers to support us in delivering our product led vision and ensuring we are fit for the future. You will be a true collaborator, with the desire to challenge the status quo to achieve better outcomes for yourself, the team, and the wider business.Working as part of a matrix pod structure, you’ll thrive in an environment of clear, continuous communication and collaboration and you’ll be able to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic agile setting. You’ll embrace change, seeking opportunities through curiosity and demonstrate a growth mindset.What You Will Be DoingProviding 1st/2nd Line support to a hybrid working environment team with their IT hardware and software queries Track the inventory of company hardware/software assetsMaintaining the companies’ Microsoft Office 365 accountsFollowing the hardware/software acquisition procedureSetting up and administering equipment for new starters and existing colleaguesDay-to-day administration of IT hardware and systemsDiagnosing software and hardware faults when appropriate, and fixing issues as quickly as possibleDemonstrating a customer first approach, able to translate technical language and adapt approach to a sometimes-non-technical audienceIdentifying improvements to enhance the experience of the hybrid working environment and putting forward your ideas for changeRequirementsA customer first approach and experience of working in a strong service-orientated culture with knowledge of laptop hardwareExtensive understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows server, Office 365 and a basic understanding of UbuntuA relentless learner who continually demonstrates a growth mindset Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organisational ability is required, able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines with, sometimes a changeable set of priorities A basic understanding of networksBasic knowledge of Apple productsKeeps on top of industry developments and trends and shares knowledge with wider teamsExcellent communication skills and able to cultivate highly effective working relationships at all levels and with all functions across the businessBenefitsAs well as all the usual things you’d expect, we’ve highlighted what we feel makes us stand out from the crowd!
