We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join the Brand and Marketing Team in London or Northampton to lead the marketing efforts to attract bigger SMEs. We’re increasingly seeing larger small businesses being underserved in their insurance needs. As we’ve done for micro SMEs for years, we’re determined to change that and deliver a transparent experience that will enable small business owners to focus on the success of their business. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager that can help us build audiences in this space. Here’s what you will be doing: building and executing strategies that drive leads for our sales team or directly to convert on our website growing our existing marketing channels and establishing new ones to deliver marketing qualified leads to our sales team streamlining ways of working to ensure passing leads between marketing and sales is smooth and drives conversion (including introducing lead nurturing programs where appropriate) working closely with our award-winning Content team to establish and manage a relevant content marketing calendar that builds the Simply Business brand with target audiences and cements our authority in insurance making sure there’s a clear rationale for everything we do, using a test and learn methodology, and reporting to the business on performance of campaigns or activities working with our internal Design team and external agencies – knowing how to write a good brief is essential We’re looking for someone who is: a creative thinker with ideas and the drive and organisation to get them off the ground a proactive self-starter, not put off by ambiguity an excellent communicator with relationship building skills passionate about supporting the success of small business owners able to demonstrate strong experience as a B2B marketer experienced in driving B2B lead generation with a track record of driving leads for sales teams able to bring stakeholder teams on the journey (e.g. product and sales) highly numerate, data driven and able to work to targets, identify opportunities and improve measurable outcomes happy to execute in the day-to-day as well as develop strategy on a quarterly basis able to work independently, take initiative, and prioritise to hit goals experienced with paid digital marketing is a plus experienced working at a start-up, working in fintech, knowledge of B2C digital marketing (useful but not essential) Our culture is inclusive and diverse Our mission is to make Simply Business synonymous with fairness, belonging and inclusivity.
