Not only will you be leading how we build truly unique digital products here at 383, but as part of the Leadership team, you’ll help us build and keep on building a truly fantastic company.We’re looking for a Head of Product to manage the Product team as well as drive the Product thought leadership at 383. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with our clients and prospects, raising awareness of who we are and what we do within our target audiences, designing programmes of work, supporting a fantastic team of Product Managers and integrating the studio together to create powerful products.In this role, you’ll find yourself:Managing a team of Product Managers, using your years of experience to support and mentor themContinuously reviewing 383’s Value Proposition with the Commercial and Leadership teams, defining, shaping and creating our service linesSupporting our Marketing Team with the creation of content and go to market strategiesReviewing our Product Development Processes, refining and optimising to ensure that we’re able to create the best possible service and productsSupporting the Head of Business Development in new business activities including programme design, client pitches and proposal creationWorking closely with our Client Services team to proactively develop Product Strategies for our client’s productsProvide coaching and mentorship to the Head of Strategy, supporting them in linking value proposition design to product development opportunitySpeaking publicly about your expertise and that of 383Supporting the Directors in Weekly leadership meetings, quarterly and annual planning sessions.RequirementsThere’s a few things we’re looking for in our Head of Product:You help to define the long term purpose and direction of client’s products with the Product and Strategy teamYou can determine customer and client needs and desires by interrogating client requests and working to uncover trends and opportunitiesYou are able to provide hypotheses and then work to validate how effective these will be for the productYou can define the scope of present and future features by reviewing product specifications and requirements, and highlighting the commercial opportunities to our Client Services Team You can work closely with our Heads of Design and Engineering teams to perfect the Product Trio relationship, taking ultimate decisions on product direction in the best interests of clients and 383You can apply pragmatism, being the balance between the needs of 383, our clients, your team and the end userYou can motivate your team and those around you through the often complex and chaotic world of product managementYou’re a change agent for the future, understanding the need to keep things fresh and simple with emergent technologiesYou can provide leadership and humility in equal measure, building trust with those around youYou can roll your sleeves up and get into the detail, but remain high level enough to be effective across a number of products and clientsYou are adept at taking calculated risks in both product and business contextsYour Experience5+ Years in a Product Management role5+ Years in a Leadership positionDeep experience in planning and delivering on a product visionProven experience of building, running and managing high performing teamsFull comprehension of the product lifecycle and how ideas get translated into physical code and delivered to usersSuccessfully launched and maintained several live productsLed on product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholdersWorked in close proximity to commercial stakeholders and teams to proactively sell in roadmap featuresDemonstrable experience of senior level stakeholder relationship managementAn ambassador for the Product Management discipline, through writing content and speaking at eventsYour SkillsRecognises tactical opportunities to build new features and drive commercial and physical return for brands and customersAble to use a full suite of digital tools and platforms to plan and communicate the work that you doStrong analytical mindset, you prove your hunches through a blend of quantitative and qualitative researchConsistent management of product backlog to bring the most valuable features to the foregroundAble to succinctly and accurately articulate each feature with user stories and feature requests to internal and external stakeholdersYou’ll probably be:Practical
