Student Recruitment Marketing ManagerMy client is a university based in the heart of the city of London and are looking for a Student Recruitment Marketing Manager to join them on a temporary role. The Student Recruitment Marketing Manager will support the recruitment of students at all levels to over 124-degree programmes across the faculty, including PhD routes.Minimum 3 monthsStart date 14th April – Mid July£19 – 22/ hrRole and Responsibilities: -* Work with the university preferred suppliers for digital marketing advertising buying* Actively maintain awareness of the admissions position of degree programmes, providing advice to senior management and prospective students as appropriate.* Systematically gather competitor intelligence and conduct market research, disseminating findings and offering advice on the revision and development of new programmes* Co-ordinate annual entries for the University undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses.* Coordinate a network of professional services and academic staff who have an interest in Student Recruitment Marketing* Identify opportunities on overseas trips to have a Student Recruitment element to them* Compile a ‘Welcome to University Engineering’ pack to send to offer holders to help with conversion* Maintain awareness of CMA requirements as they relate to the provision of information to prospective students.* Actively engage with universities network of marketing professionals and use this network to inform the development of activity.* Promote and raise awareness of University Engineering Faculty with key internal and external interest groups in a student recruitment marketing context.Duties and responsibilities:The role is a key point of interface between academic departments and Universities central Communications and Marketing strategy and operations. Principal duties relate to Universities Engineering and include responsibilities to:* Take a lead role in developing and implementing the faculty’s digital student recruitment marketing strategies.* Provide advice and guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues to academic and professional services staff.* Manage the gathering and use of data to inform faculty strategy and contribute to decision-making concerning departments’ recruitment plans.* Develop high-quality student recruitment materials which support student recruitment, from initial enquiry to enrolment.* Provide a cohesive, responsive, and supportive service to departments in relation to the recruitment of students at all levels.* Plan and develop student recruitment marketing activities (including events and printed materials) across Universities Engineering.* Coordinate academic departments’ engagement with prospective students via Universities CRM system.* Manage the testing of departmental and faculty-level promotional material, involving current students where appropriate.* Advise and manage virtual open days across the faculty* Act as the lead for university-wide recruitment initiatives, such as Open Days, by liaising with academic and departmental colleagues, and the central Communications and Marketing division.
