Are you looking to apply your excellent organisational skills towards effectively supporting the executive office of a sustainability-focused, international not for profit organisation seeking to change business practices at a global scale? We are hiring a coordinator to offer thoughtful, accurate and efficient support to our Executive Director and Director of Programmes. This is the perfect role for someone who would like to develop and expand their own organisational, coordination, and logistical skills, while gaining significant exposure to the governance and strategy of a small but dynamic international NGO.

Read more about us on our website www.iseal.org.The Coordinator, Executive Office reports to the Executive Director and supports two female leaders in the organisation with ISEAL governance and strategy implementation. The Coordinator also provides general administrative support to these Directors and plays an important role in ensuring effective communication and coordination with external partners and across ISEAL teams and organisational processes. In this role, the Coordinator will communicate directly with ISEAL Board and Stakeholder Council members, key partners and member organisations, and ISEAL colleagues.To be considered for this role, you must be an accomplished organiser who can thrive in a fast-paced, international setting. You should be able to juggle and prioritise a variety of tasks at any time, be pro-active in your approach and confidently interact with both colleagues and a range of external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have some experience in a similar support function in a not-for-profit environment, though excellent candidates without this specific experience will also be considered. You are excited about the prospect of learning about and supporting the organisation´s governance, strategy implementation, and reporting functions, as well as interacting with an inspiring team of experts in the field of market-driven sustainability. In return, ISEAL can offer inspiring insight into the world of sustainability initiatives and sustainability issues, a supportive organisational culture, and good opportunities to develop professionally and personally in an international NGO environment.Responsibilities Calendar managementSchedule and coordinate meeting logisticsDrafting meeting agendas and board documents; taking and disseminating meeting notesCoordination of strategy review processes and workplanning, budgeting and reportingCoordinate communications with internal and external stakeholdersDevelop and maintain understanding of charity governance regulations and ISEAL governance documents. Coordinate recurring governance requirements including board elections. Support recruitment and induction process for external board membersSupport the development and management of the annual organisational calendar for work planning, strategy and financial reportingCoordinate and maintain a calendar of agenda topics for strategy meetingSupport in building and maintaining partnerships with external organisationsCoordinate stakeholder engagement events, including with ISEAL-member CEOs and ISEAL Stakeholder CouncilCoordinate international travel arrangements and provide remote supportComplete expense and credit card reports Essential Attributes / Skills /KnowledgeUniversity degree or equivalent studies or experience in a related fieldSolid experience in a similar role, ideally providing high level administrative, monitoring and evaluation, and/or project support to senior staff in an NGO settingHoned organisation skills and the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasksConfidence in communicating with people at different management levels while displaying tact and professionalismHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent English writing skillsExperience using MS Office and other applications, especially PowerPoint and ExcelFamiliarity with online communications tools (e.g. Teams, Zoom, etc.)Interest in learning about and contributing to the effective running of an international not-for-profit organisationCommitment to ISEAL’s mission Experience with strategic frameworks or monitoring and evaluation a plusUnderstanding of sustainability standards/ISEAL’s work a plusOther relevant informationTerm:

£27,500-£31,000 p.a. depending on experienceLocation:

International Travel

This position will be based in ISEAL’s London head office; due to uncertainty with Covid-19, an ability and willingness to work from home is required. Applicants will need to provide evidence that they are entitled to work in the UK.

The post holder may be required to undertake occasional international travelAnnual Leave:
