What you will do

We are looking for a talented and driven operator to serve as a chief of staff to our US Head of Brand Operations. As the right hand of our department head, you will be responsible for special projects that could include:

  • Build out our internal knowledge bank with trainings, FAQs and quizzes for brand managers. Source a platform to administer this knowledge, organize the material, create training plans for new joiners, etc.
  • Pull and analyze performance reports for our various brands. Help Razor executives identify where to dedicate more time and resources.
  • Research, identify and lock in US providers for services such as photography and copywriting. Set up meetings for Jeff and manage RFP process.
  • Manage team agendas and prepare materials for broader BM/ops team meetings for Jeff.
  • Event planning: coordinate and help run big internal events (e.g., department summits in Austin with 30+ people), as well as external events such as our participation at industry shows, presentations in other cities to large groups of VIPs, etc.
  • Manage the team calendar and agenda for department meetings. Prepare slides and coordinate with participants on any presentations or materials needed.

What we’re looking for

This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of work experience who wants exposure into the inner workings of a large e-commerce company. After 12-24 months in the role, with increasing responsibility, the person could transition into a Brand Management role on the team.

Core attributes of the person we’re looking for:

  • Independent – you don’t require hand-holding or micro-managing; you tackle problems proactively and hold yourself to high standards of achievement.
  • Relentless – tenacious, unrelenting. You don’t stop when you encounter issues.
  • Communicator – superb communication skills, both written and verbal, and across cultures and levels of an organization.
  • Detail-driven – no detail is too small to merit your attention.
  • Collaborator – A trusted partner across all levels of the org. You are trusted to deliver what you say you will deliver and you inspire collaboration in others.

Experience in the following is a plus, but not required:

  • Consulting firms
  • E-commerce companies
