We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Head of Data Analysis to join our client’s exciting and expanding team based in central London.

In your role as Head of Data Analysis, you will report to the CEO and work closely with all areas of the business, especially ecommerce. You will own the set up, planning, implementation and execution of the data, analytics and insights strategy across all channels.

This is a brand-new role and will require identifying the data sources, setting up analysis tools and processes, and analysing data to drive key business initiatives, efficiencies and growth.

The Role:

  • Define the company data, analytics and insights strategy.
  • Place an emphasis on ecommerce related data analysis
  • Measure and analyse site data, traffic patterns, traffic sources, funnel conversion, as well as content and product performance.
  • Work on influencing customer behaviour through more targeted marketing strategies.
  • Create, manage and distribute data and insights to the relevant teams via weekly, monthly and adhoc reporting.
  • Develop and standardise existing reporting and processes through automation and optimisation along with research in to emerging technologies and best practice.
  • Enhance and maintain the tag management system (Google Tag Manager) as well as hard-coded pixels and cookies.
  • Improve data capture and the flow of data and enhance analytics implementations and configurations by testing and deploying.
  • Implement a range of forecasting, media mix modelling/optimisation, attribution modelling, personalisation algorithms, customer segmentation, customer journey analytics, propensity scoring, testing & uplift/incrementality.
  • Understand the ecommerce trading, digital marketing and merchandising team’s needs, so that insights can be translated into actions.
  • Work with the digital marketing team on customer acquisition and retention, focusing on analysis, testing and reporting across PPC, SEO, email, referral, affiliate and paid social channels.
  • Engage in ‘root cause’ analysis to assess unexpected changes in metrics, understand underlying causes and provide recommendations to resolve.

The Candidate:

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Experience working at a luxury/fashion brand or within ecommerce preferred
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager & Webmaster Tools.
  • Digital Marketing experience including Facebook Business Manager and Google AdWords a plus
  • Experience with data tools such as Power BI, Pyramid etc
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing including personalisation a plus
  • Advanced excel experience
