A Higher education client of ours is looking for a hybrid IT project manager to join the team. This person will be helping integrate a new project to the organizations systems.

(This role is a 1-year contract)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in Procure-to-Pay project management

• 2years’ experience in IT project management

Preferred Competencies:

• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay business processes

• Ability to work with Finance/Procurement professionals

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to independently manage competing priorities, work simultaneously on multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with other units/stakeholders, including executives, to coordinate meetings and logistics

• Ability to work in a team environment and to coordinate with colleagues and provide leadership in responding to users’ questions

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to weekly status meetings

• Prepare relevant materials for presentations

• Manage and communicate with relevant stakeholders

• Identify and escalate risks, actions, issues, and decisions that arise from SCM workstream

• Prepare reports, agendas, and minutes for project team meetings

• Appropriately maintain document repositories
