Welcome to our Senior Product Analyst role.

As a successful Senior Product Analyst at Pleo you are fostering an environment where decisions are supported by clear analysis and accurate data no matter how big or small. From placing a button in the right place to changing our pricing model. You are deeply involved in the full life-cycle of product development and have impacted how we design, measure, evaluate and improve it. You are helping the team understand customer behaviours, correlations between adoption, spend and retention as well as evaluate the impact of our actions.

In short, you’re constantly looking at predictive models to predict churn and our customers next move in the product.

You will thrive in this role if you

  • Have a genuine passion to understand users of Pleo, and inspire new perspectives on how we build our products. You think about this with data at hand, always
  • Think systematically about how can we create and evolve a framework to instrument all Pleo’s products (both client-facing and internal) to empower the rest of the organisation with awesome data
  • You’re not afraid of concepts such as multivariate analysis, A/B testing or coefficient of covariation and you would know when to use them
  • You are curious and obsessed with data, and feel confident to independently work with large data sets. You have data analysis and reporting skills (including data auditing, aggregation, validation, and reconciliation) and experience in data visualization.
  • You can connect the dots and read in-between the lines and combine statistical and business perspectives to uncover the underlying story in any data.
  • You have experience working with SQL databases or similar and you have likely worked with tracking tools like Amplitude, Tableau, Metabase, Periscope, Google Data Studio, or Looker. Programming experience, especially Python, is a big plus!

The nitty-gritty skills needed

  • Ability to analyse versatile (both structured and unstructured) data
  • Knowledge of statistics and analytical processes
  • Experience running structured analysis and ability to use the right techniques (knowing their limitations, pros/cons)
  • SQL (bonus points if you are skilled in R or Python as well ? )
  • Experience working with digital products that have amazing UX
  • Good at presenting the conclusions and putting them in context
  • Running Multivariate A/B testing

Show me the benefits!

  • Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!)
  • Ability to work remotely (anywhere between the east coast of the Americas to European timezones)…
  • …or onsite if you want to (Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Madrid, Berlin, Lisbon)
  • Lunch is on us – whether you are working remote or at one of our offices ?
  • Private Health Insurance to ensure you’re fit of body and mind to do your best work
  • Trips abroad for team camps. We’ve just been to Costa Brava, in Spain – we’d love to see you at the next one!
  • 25 days holiday per year + your local public holidays
  • Paid parental leave – we want to make sure that we’re supportive of families and help you feel that you don’t have to compromise your family due to work ??
  • €2500 annual Flex Benefits budget (maybe you want to buy additional holidays, pay for the gym, book a professional coach or pay part of your MBA – completely up to you!). We know everybody prioritises different benefits. So, our Flex Benefits package lets you choose what best suits you. Ask us about what we offer, we’ll be happy to outline more!
