We are looking for a new Consultant to join our growing team:

Consultant Role

You will be part of a great team delivering quality project management and consulting services with our clients.

Principle activities and responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative ways to improve or change operations, leveraging technology, innovation, and industry knowledge in collaboration with colleagues and clients
  • Analyse client’s existing operations to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and any unmet business needs
  • Deploy project management expertise including;
  • o Set project governance and reporting
  • o Manage project resources and budgets
  • o Deploy ‘Risks, Issues, Actions and Dependency’ management
  • o Implement project change control
  • o Research and production of reports
  • o Methodology and quality support
  • Prepare and maintain project documents such as project plans, status reports, process maps, impact assessments, training materials
  • Conduct business analysis and evaluation on specific projects
  • Use your understanding of a client’s stakeholder environment to inform and adapt working styles and communication
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to project manage and deliver practical solutions
  • Support or lead client workshops in support of business change.

You will be…

We are looking for someone who can drive change and innovate, a self-starter who can pick up and run with tasks and work with a degree of ambiguity. Ideally degree educated, typically with 2-4 years’ consulting or project management experience gained either in a professional services organisation or ‘in-house’ as part of a business change team. Your main experience should be either in environmental / sustainability projects or digital / technology projects.

As well as Project Management expertise, you will need to demonstrate core consulting competencies including;

· Planning and organisational skills

· Communication and the ability to influence at a range of levels

· Presentation skills

· Ability to design and facilitate workshops

· Research and Report writing

· Analysis and problem solving

· Structured thinking

· Stakeholder engagement and client management.

You may also have…

  • A background in environmental, net zero initiatives and sustainability projects.
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects would be advantageous.
  • Awareness of Waterfall and Agile project management methods and scrum master techniques.
  • Aptitude for or experience of working with project budgets, trackers and forecasts and able to provide reports of financial data in accordance with documented processes and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management software (including MS Project, Merlin or
