The team you’ll be part of
Network Infrastructure
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
Education Recommendations
The candidate is enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar, with an accredited school in Canada.
What You Will Learn And Contribute To
You will:
- Program new capabilities into our test automation infrastructure such as test validation methods, connectivity to devices via specific networking protocol, and debugging utilities.
- Understand the requirements from testers and devise how to build the corresponding functionality.
- Prototype new ways to test specific NSP deployment scenarios with a focus on the robustness of the system.
What Is Nokia Looking For From Me
You have:
- Programming skills in JavaScript, Python or Java
- Strong understanding of object-oriented software design concepts
- Familiarity with Linux
- Attention to detail, object-oriented programing experience and the ability to analyze existing software code.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Working knowledge of NodeJS/Mocha or Selenium
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of agile software design and test methodologies.
