As LEAD SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), you will join a dynamic and growing company on a digital transformation journey. You will be primarily responsible for software Quality Assurance automation & functional testing. These software Quality Assurance teams play a key role supporting and testing applications used by both external customers and internal operations teams in support of the continued growth of the company.

Essential Functions:

  • Foster delivery of increasing amounts of high-value, high-quality, on-target software.
  • Build and grow software Quality Assurance automation framework to automate 80% of regression.
  • Perform manual/functional testing as needed.
  • Strong Azure SQL, MongoDB and Oracle skills. Should be able to write complex queries to certify.
  • Provide technical leadership for every aspect of Testing.
  • Strong Agile practitioner who should work as part of the Scrum Team.
  • Lead efforts to develop technical roadmaps for all projects.
  • Establish best practices SDLC standards and processes for Testing.
  • Conduct Test design and automation code reviews to ensure software quality in support of business goals.
  • Ensure projects with multiple system dependencies are well-coordinated.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to influence and improve products.
  • Develop relations with internal customers to understand all individual requirements.
  • Manage and execute software projects from beginning to finish.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.
  • This role requires expertise of QA methodologies, Software Delivery Life Cycle, Agile Development processes and Continuous Integration/Continuous-Delivery model
  • You will work closely with Software Engineers to understand a complex domain and product
  • The Principal SDET Lead focuses on contributing to the development of automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests through test frameworks for overall system testing within an Agile environment
  • Leads software testing in agile/iterative software development and using collaborative development tools such as Jira
  • Define, conduct training on, and enforce quality standards, processes, best practices, and guidelines across product lines
  • Designs and builds a complete load and performance testing framework
  • Designs, builds, maintains, and improves automated testing frameworks
  • Develop and execute strategy for converting existing manual suite of tests into automated tests
  • Build and execute automated API tests
  • Test integration and continuous delivery and familiarity with tools to accomplish it.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience working with on-prem and hosted enterprise implemented solutions as well as cloud-native COTS software products
  • 7+ years of strong Knowledge of C# , .NET programming languages.
  • 7+ years of Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS and cross browser development.
  • 7+ years of experience with evaluating and developing test frameworks (Selenium WebDriver C#).
  • 5+ years of BDD and TDD system test methodology.
  • 5+ years of Unit, integration, regression, and load/performance test experience.
  • 5+ years of experience to generate test reports from both tools and manually
  • Experience with all aspects/phases of automation including GUI, integration and stress testing
  • Ability to thrive in a highly agile, collaborative team environment.

  • 4+ years of experience leading quality assurance & automation teams with a best practices SDLC

· 4+ years ‘ experience testing client-server applications, web applications, API ‘s and databases

  • 4+ years of experience in software QA in a financial services-related business
  • 4+ years of experience leading one Testing CoE team
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience Testing .NET web applications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience Testing SQL databases and writing SQL queries
  • Experience using Agile tools (Jira), Testing tools (Cucumber, Selenium, Testingbot, LoadRunner, SOAPUI, Postman, JMETER, etc.)
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work experience
