We are hiring high-performing Staff Accountants to join our Accounting and Outsourcing Services group. As an experienced Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence in a range of markets and industries while working with other accounting professionals and interacting with clients.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of small to large international businesses (A/P, A/R, bank transactions, payroll entries, month end journals)
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Prepare year end accounts
  • Act as Client liaison and communicate directly with clients as part of bookkeeping and accounts preparation process
  • Prepare tax and financial projections
  • Prepare corporate, payroll and sales tax returns (including general ledger analysis and tax closings)
  • Build and maintain client relationships focused on excellent client service
  • Engage in internal initiatives and training

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA designation
  • 2-3 years of public accounting experience
  • Demonstrated focus on client deadlines and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client locations
  • Demonstrated focus on client deadlines and providing excellent client service
  • Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax, BNA and ProSystem Engagement is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Xero, SAP or NetSuite is a plus
  • Speak French or another foreign language is a plus
