INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Automation Development Operations

  • Number of Openings: 1
  • What you will work on: You will work closely with the BTS Automation Architect(s) to develop Cloud and Infrastructure automation/orchestration processes to include authoring code, integrating coded processes into CICD pipelines, and on-boarding non-devops-focused technologists into Infrastructure as Code (IAC) paradigms.
  • Desired Skills:
    • Knowledge of operating systems (linux, windows), with experience coding/scripting in one of Bash, Python, Powershell, etc.
    • Basic understanding of files like XML, JSON, YAML, and Jinja2
    • Understanding of the concepts of version control systems using git or similar tools
    • Capable of tutoring others to share knowledge
    • Understanding of Configuration Management Tools like Ansible, Salt, etc.
    • Experience using Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform
    • Knowledge of using RESTful APIs in stand-alone and systems integration scenarios and familiar with general infrastructure protocols (i.e. DNS, DHCP, AD, etc.)

End User Computing

  • Number of Openings: 2
  • What you will work on: The End User Computing team is responsible for a broad set of technologies that enable everyone at Mary Kay to perform their jobs efficiently. This includes PC’s, Mac’s, telephony and mobile devices, video conferencing and conference rooms, email, remote access solutions, printing, and all the platforms and systems that support these services. You will become a part of the teams that design, deliver, and support these technologies. The EUC teams work remotely most days and our interns will have the opportunity to work remotely or at our corporate headquarters. Intern responsibilities will include:
    • Providing direct user support by processing tickets submitted to the service desk
    • Administration activities in platforms such as M365, for example maintaining user accounts, groups, etc.
    • In-person support at our new support center, The Hive (opening 2022)
    • Packaging software for automated delivery to end user devices (PC’s, Mac’s, mobile devices
    • Developing scripts and automation flow
    • Participating on projects to deliver new capabilities, working on clearly documented and assigned task
    • Analyzing and reporting on data to reveal trends, opportunities for improvement, and to measure against service level agreements
    • Working with users to understand their needs, how they leverage the tools that we provide and how we can improve
    • Producing end user documentation such as quick reference guides or help guides
    • Technologies that are core to what we do and that you will be leveraging include M365, SCCM, Active Directory, Intune, Citrix, Exchange, Teams, Ivanti, RingCentral, Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS
  • Desired Skills:
    • Working directly with customers
    • User technical support experience, such as working in an Apple Genius Bar or Geek Squad
    • Direct knowledge or experience with any of our core technologies, identified above
    • Scripting or coding experience, especially in PowerShell
    • Experience with enterprise ticketing or service management systems, such as ServiceNow, BMC or Ivanti
    • Experience with enterprise device management platforms or their concepts

Information Security Threat Hunting And Red Team Support

  • What you will work on:

Security Operations Center Team Support

  • Number of Openings: 1
  • What you will work on:
    • Work as a Security Analyst monitoring the Mary Kay environment for cyber security events and utilizing a diverse set of tools to respond to and mitigate events as needed
    • Proactively use tools and security knowledge to search/hunt for suspicious security related events
    • Act as point of escalation for third party MSSP level 1 SOC

Digital Business Analyst

  • Number of Openings: 1
  • What you will work on: This internship will expose you to a variety of digital tools/apps that Mary Kay has on their website and available on different mobile platforms for their Independent Beauty Consultants and Consumers. These consist of the Interactive Catalog, Skin Analyzer, and MirrorMe, which uses augmented reality to try on makeup. You will test out features of the apps, recommend a roadmap of enhancements and analyze the digital Mary Kay experience and analytics to improve the overall User Experience.

Supply Chain Systems Business Analyst

  • Number of Openings: 1
  • What you will work on: Seeking a motivated business analyst intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. You will need to have broad knowledge of supply chain processes within manufacturing and distribution ERP systems. Through the use of data analytic tools, you will research, analyze and introduce opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Desired Skills:
    • Good communication and documentation skills
    • Experience working with all levels of staff to define business and technical requirements as well as to perform application support
    • Knowledge of supply chain business processes and experience with manufacturing and distribution systems
