B+C/ LHH is looking an experienced HR Advisor to join an established professional services

business based in the Walsall area. This is a generalist role that will include coordination and management of ER, L&D and project support.

The role:

• Providing operational HR advice and support to all employees on site.

• Dealing with grievances and sickness / absence reviews.

• Handling absence management queries.

• Stakeholder management and Engagement.

• Providing face to face and over the phone HR advice for various HR queries ranging from disciplinary, grievances, absence and performance management.

• Dealing with exit interviews and recruitment compliance.

• Jointly responsible for the induction process

• Effectively deal with employee relations matters including disciplinary meetings

• Provision of employment advice & guidance to employees and managers

• Lead on specific HR projects during the year to be agreed with the Head of HR.

• Joint day-to-day HR support and administration

• Absence monitoring & reporting

• Assist teams with interviews and recruitment process as and when required

• Running reports

• In the absence of the HR administrator be able to complete those duties if urgent.

• In the absence of the Talent Acquisition HR Officer (holiday or other absence) – Working with hiring managers to develop job descriptions & vacancy briefs Selection process, drafting employment contracts, complete related administration and HR database updates, ensure entire central service team are aware of new people joining and leaving the organisation.

What we are looking for?

• Minimum 3 years HR experience, preferably in a generalist role in a professional service environment.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.

• Used to leading employee relations meetings, performance discussions and disciplinary meetings with line managers and employees.

• Good knowledge and understanding of employment law and best practice.

• Computer literate MS Office Packages.

• Previous experience with multitasking work and projects, and capacity to prioritise as needed.

• CIPD qualified

• Must have excellent MS Excel skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience of using HR software and systems
