But, to get to where we want to be, we are looking for a Supervisor – Operations Finance to join our Finance team. Find out more below!

Specific Responsibilities

– Responsible for developing and analyzing both annual and individual standard costs, continuously improving and implementing consistency of standard cost accounting policies and processes in line with Kohler Co, in the Cheltenham manufacturing plant

– Provide support to the Cheltenham plant to give insight and clear understanding of financial performance, interpreting and communicating operating variances in a straightforward manner using Kohler Co. methodologies

– Responsible for the development and co- ordination of financial plans and forecasts for the Cheltenham plant. Working closely with each executive and their teams as relevant, to provide support and analysis and ensuring consistency of approach and delivered in a timely manner

– Act as a business partner for key stakeholders in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, specifically around the monthly Supply Management Review (SMR) meetings and presentation of business cases at the Integrated Reconciliation Reviews (IRR)

– Support the Operations Team with Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, including PI models, ACTs and sufficient integration into IBP and Financial Planning cycles

– Responsible for ensuring adequate and fully reconciled balance sheet provisions relating to Operations in line with Kohler Co. Policies and Accounting Standards. Ensure all information reported is in accordance with Kohler reporting formats and design attributes. The information is to be made available to both internal and external auditors, the business and Kohler Co. on a timely basis

– Responsible for the valuation of Inventory and ensuring it is in line with UK accounting standards and Kohler policies, including calculation and provision of all stock provisions on a monthly basis for K&B UK

– Perform Financial Reconciliations at year end stock takes and providing support to the business during the stock take process across K&B UK

– Perform month end activities and completion of internal month end reporting packages in line with reporting deadlines, providing insight and understanding of financial performance and look to continuously improve the operations financial processes from a quality and productivity perspective

– Build strong relationships with the business at all levels as relevant. Build trust with the teams you support and show continuous support in producing accurate, timely information. Develop strong relationships with relevant members of the US teams and SSC teams, to bring best practice into the Mira Operational Financial processes

– Be a resource for others. Coach / Mentor others in accounting methods and share Kohler Co. policies and knowledge with less experienced analysts. Assist non- financial readers in interpreting results. Mentoring and coaching of Junior Associates

– Maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity

– To undertake Ad hoc activities as requested

– Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA

– SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous

– Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint

– Good interpersonal and communication skills

– Ability to balance technical capability with commercial delivery and a strong improvement mindset

– Available for occasional travel
