The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Digital team at JPMorgan is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. Our goal is to deepen relationships with existing clients and unlock new segments for JPMorgan. Reporting to a CRE Digital Sales Leader this Business Development Representative will generate excitement for new solutions with existing and new clients.

The ideal candidate is high energy, comfortable speaking about web-based technologies, passionate about helping clients and prospects, and excels in communication via zoom, phone, and email. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. A collaborative approach is key as this role is expected to contribute ideas and initiate tactical improvements to the overall sales process.

Objectives of this Role

  • Responsible for achieving annual sales targets set by the business
  • Identify and qualify opportunities via inbound leads and outbound prospecting
  • Source new sales opportunities and schedule product demonstrations
  • Stay current with company offerings and industry trends
  • Clearly articulate our value proposition and listen to client requirements to determine the appropriate next steps
  • Own the communication for leads captured and nurtured by the Marketing team
  • Help shape the product roadmap based on local insights and prospect feedback
  • Take on additional projects centered around new business opportunities
  • Collect and document client needs, requests, and questions in a central location and communicate to key product, operations, design, and marketing stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the product, design, operations, and engineering teams

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully and on your feet to diverse technical and non-technical groups
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • A reliable and strong work ethic: you show up on time for meetings, stay focused, execute against the business agenda, and still have fun
  • Entrepreneurial energy who enjoys collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • A passion for connecting with people, solving problems, and building something new
  • Real Estate / Commercial Real Estate Experience not a requirement, but a plus
  • An ability to understand the various financial services products offered by other JPM teams and how they complement our digital offering

The typical pay scale for this role is between $73,000 and $85,000, although pay could be lower or higher based on factors such as experience, skills, etc. This compensation range is specific to Colorado and may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. In addition, the role may be eligible for incentives earned as part of the Annual Incentive plan which is discretionary and based on the performance of the firm, the business unit and the individual.
