Description
Duties: Develop software with resiliency, scalability, and a flexible design. Ensure all changes meet application score matrix requirements for unit test and vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain applications. Perform application upgrades with the latest technology and address vulnerabilities. Analyze requirements and system design. Produce quality deliverables with efficient system development. Maintain quality with continuous development and testing principles. Use industry wide principles and practices in software development. Communicate with cross regional development teams and other stakeholders. Address production issues, and client and stakeholder clarifications, in a timely manner while providing effective solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Software Engineer/Developer, Technical Lead, IT Consultant, or related role. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills and technologies: Java related technologies: Spring, Hibernate, Apache, Tomcat, JSP, Servlets, JMS, REST, Web Services, and Groovy; XML, XSL, and JSon; Eclipse or IntelliJ; TOAD; Putty; GIT; UNIX Scripting; testing tools like Mockito; working in Relational databases such as Sybase or Oracle; and developing, deploying, and managing applications in Cloud.
