CIB CAO – Banking Operations – Cash Account Management – Expense Service

The Cash Account Management team is responsible for a large proportion of the firm’s cash flows, through a global operating model with teams based in Bournemouth, Tampa, Bangalore, Manila , Mumbai and New York .

The EMEA team manages bank wide primary cash positions, in support of Global Treasury, in addition to business specific bank accounts and Investment Products for, Investor Services and the Investment Bank.

The team manages strategic projects and n ew b usiness items that impact essential high risk day to day responsibilities in addition to participation in a number of firm wide and business specific initiatives.

It is also relied upon to provide advice on liquidity implications of product and market changes, devise policy and design processes and system solutions in various cash related areas.

Key Responsibilities

The Cash Account Management Expense Associate will support the wider TCIO led Cash as an Asset (CaaA) initiative for Expense management, ensuring the right Cash Account expenses, are in the right place, at the right time, with maximum transparency.

The role will require leadership and time management to assist in delivering a consistent and structured operating framework/model in parallel with implementing an automated solution.

The role will also work closely with the Global Balance Validation Operations Team to support the Explain and Allocation of expenses in production.

Key Responsibilities Will Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Project management of specified deliverables
  • Change Management – control change process
  • Define and assist with metrics for all aspect of Cash Account Expense
  • Creating a reporting structure for Cash Account Expense
  • Provide weekly governance capability
  • Contributing towards objective of reducing unallocated Cash Account Expense globally
  • End to end ownership for the delivery of the automation of the Cash Account Expense process
  • Stakeholder in the automation of the compensation process
  • Teamwork and Leadership – supporting a global team

Skills (Optional)

  • Experience using business analysis techniques and/or other relevant capabilities, such as data mining, process mapping, process improvement, measurement frameworks
  • Experience of Business I ntelligence applications such as Tableau/Alteryx/QlikView
  • Knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle
  • Builds/promotes a client/customer centred organization
  • Experience of Industrialisation of new processes
  • Experience of working in an Agile e nvironment
