Relationship and Facility Management Coordination

  • Establish a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with client counterparts and peers.
  • Coordinate work and/or approvals between internal and external groups
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and respond to emergency and urgent maintenance service calls
  • Escort and supervise suppliers while working on-site.
  • Assist with furniture delivery, disposal and maintain organized storage spaces
  • Assist with set-up and break-down of corporate events
  • Perform daily facilities walk-through of Herndon Facility

Project Coordination

  • Assist with the development and implementation of the annual management plan for the building.
  • Drive adherence to established processes and demonstrate agility and creativity to meet dynamic business needs
  • Escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately
  • Manage approval process for assigned projects
  • Deliver to Best Practices of FM team

40% – 60%

  • All other duties as directed by Director of Real Estate & Facilities, HO Health & Safety and site leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education/training

MINIMUM

  • Associates degree

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience

Years of relevant experience

MINIMUM

  • Minimum of 1 year industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant

Preferred

  • 2+ years of industry experience either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant

Skills and knowledge

  • Knowledge of current facility management trends, best practices and technologies
  • Strong ability to listen and communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient using common business applications (Microsoft/Google G-Suite)

Other Abilities

  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills
