Learning Technologist (Internal Only)

The Education, Learning and Development Team are waiting to offer a warm and friendly welcome to the right person who has the knowledge, skills and values to support us to achieve our Education, Learning and Development ambitions through engaging learning technology.

The role will involve supporting excellent education by contributing to the development of digital and online education, including managing our electronic learning management systems, creating content collaboratively for e-learning and providing technical expertise and advice in the use of digital technologies for education (TEL).

To achieve this you will need excellent working knowledge of the following Learning Management Systems: The NHS Electronic Staff Record (ESR) learning management (OLM), the following e-learning platforms:©, Training Tracker© and HEE e-learning for health. You will also have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Teams© as a digital technology platform for education and learning activity. You will have knowledge and experience of designing and implementing blended learning solutions using contemporary software, understand pedagogical principles and how they can be applied using learning technologies, up to date understanding of the latest developments in learning technologies and how they can be applied to contemporary teaching, learning and assessment activities.

You will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work; good customer service skills; strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to handle situations quickly and effectively. You are a creative thinker, who is able to put across ideas and solutions to problems and a team player who exhibits a reliable, flexible and adaptable approach to work.
