By joining Insight Enterprises as a IT Support Specialist, you will enter a tech-savvy and highly collaborative world. We provide the hardware, software and support-services for our customers’ most critical IT objectives. As part of those efforts, we are looking to hire some capable IT Support Specialists to work on-site in Plano, TX.
Please note, this is a full-time, direct hire position with Insight Enterprises. You will be eligible for overtime, and the expectation is 8-10 hour workdays. You will have access to full benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance in addition to a 401k match, 3 weeks PTO, 2 days off per year to volunteer at a charitable or community organization of your choice.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone that has just received their A+ certification and is looking to leverage that certification into an entry-level position within a Fortune 500 technology enterprise.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support teammates in person and remotely
- Install, Configure and Troubleshoot end user Software and Hardware issues (Windows, Android, iOS and Mac OS X)
- Break Fix Work
- Track fixed assets and inventory
- Educate and set up new teammates’ hardware/software
What You’ll Need To Join Insight
- Strong experience with PC hardware
- Experience with Desktop support experience, Operating in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Apple IOS, and MacOS required
- Basic understanding of cabling.
- Must be comfortable supporting and working with both tools Windows OS, and Apple IOS
- Enterprise/Corporate environment work experience
- Experience supporting C-Level Executive Leadership
- A+ Certification
- Strong working Knowledge of the MacOS and many of the basic applications enterprise users utilize most such as Adobe
- Strong Knowledge of office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to discuss technical issues with individuals of various knowledge and abilities
