HR Staffing Coordinator-Minneapolis Location

Performs HR related duties and works closely with the client coordinators to understand the client staffing needs. Oversees our Caregivers to confirm they are trained, adhering to work schedules and providing the best care to our clients. 40 hours per week, M-F in our Minneapolis location.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Sourcing candidates through multiple channels
  • Hosting/participating in career events
  • Able to develop long term recruiting strategies
  • Nurture trusting relationships with potential hires
  • Full cycle recruiting and onboarding new hires
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruiting events
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
  • Actively work toward hiring diverse and qualified caregivers to support our clients
  • Work closely with Client Coordinators to understand client staffing needs
  • Builds Applicant resources by researching and contacting community services, internet sites and opportunities to post for hiring
  • Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees and administering disciplinary procedures
  • Provide current and new hires with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and expectations
  • Builds trusting relationships with caregivers to help them succeed with their clients

Requirements

  • Experience in Human Resources type roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self starter with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
  • High standard of confidentiality and professional courtesy
  • Works well independently and as a team
  • Pass a MN Department of Human Services background study
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to details
  • Continuous learning to keep current with Department of Health caregiver requirements
