This Hyprid role is not tightly linked to a physical office location and provides flexibility in where (in the UK), when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

This position supports the protection of the Harley-Davidson brand in responsible region/s through civil trademark enforcement, criminal enforcement, customs enforcement, online enforcement and field enforcement. The role provides guidance and support to Harley-Davidson dealers, licensees, district managers and other employees on the use of Harley-Davidson’s trademarks and works closely with Company attorneys and outside counsel in the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the trademark and brand protection team in the enforcement caseload against infringements, counterfeiting, customs seizures and related issues in the applicable region(s).
  • Maintains updated record of all enforcement caseload in electronic case management system
  • Manages brand protection matters on SAP finance system
  • May assist in the review of licensee/supplier trademark usage, and marketing materials for trademark compliance and raise issues as they are identified.
  • Occasionally involved in and/or supports brand protection work which crosses geographic regions and organizational boundaries.
  • Supports trademark and brand protection policies and procedures.
  • May participate in work to support various projects including researching, analyzing and organizing information clearly.

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Familiarity with brand protection, trademark and/or other relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of brand protection, such as: trademark registration, civil trademark enforcement, criminal enforcement, customs enforcement, online enforcement and field enforcement.
  • Good written and oral communications skills. Ability to draft correspondence and documents addressing complex issues. Ability to effectively communicate with outside counsel with attorney oversight. Prepares accurate, clear and concise written communications that are targeted to the audience. Sets the appropriate tone and context and clearly articulates the message.
  • Demonstrates solid judgment, analytical skills and the ability to identify relevant issues and risks; solid investigative and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.


  • Languages – English is essential, other languages would be an advantage.
  • Experience in using SAP
