GFI is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative on a full-time permanent basis. This role will report directly to the President, YoFiit and VP, Plant-Based Consumer Products.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Monitor, evaluate and track sales to identify and develop areas for growth by analyzing distributors, retailers and marketplace sales reports
  • Identify gaps from distributor reports, prepare call list and call accounts for introduction or upselling
  • Leverage external databases, previous relationships and CRM to prospect and qualify potential leads
  • Call existing accounts to execute campaigns for new product launches or other initiatives
  • Call channels such as gyms and golf clubs to coordinate out-of-store activities, awareness and sampling initiatives
  • Occasionally drive to events such as tradeshows, consumer shows or sample drop-offs
  • Manage incoming sales calls and monitor mailbox to provide timely responses to existing and potential accounts
  • Support Sales Team and Marketing Team when required
  • Share customer feedback with Sales and Marketing
  • Promptly follow up to close. This includes understanding and solving potential hurdles that are preventing a sale
  • Plan in-market execution of brand promos and programming when required
  • 20-25% travel
  • Other responsibilities as required or assigned

Administrative Work

  • Provide support with filling out listing forms
  • Support promo planning and coordinate with brokers and distributors
  • Support and participate in events such as tradeshows (CHFA) as required
  • Compile sales reports from Amazon, Shopify and Retail. Share key insights on these reports with management
  • Organize sample shipments and sales collateral as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the database, document all conversations and record pipelines of opportunities
  • Act as the liaison with Logistics for samples and orders to ensure expediency. Responsible for solving related issues when necessary

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3-5 years of CPG sales experience
  • You are passionate about sales and have a keen eye for sales opportunities
  • You are a go-getter who wants to win and is excited about crushing your sales goals
  • You have a keen analytical sense for insights and data interpretation
  • You understand the CPG sales process from an omnichannel standpoint
  • You are agile and can work on different objectives in a day.
  • You love to pick up the phone to talk to prospects or customers to share a great story or help them solve issues
  • Valid passport and the ability to travel to the United States
