About the job

We are expanding in several areas and our location in the UK is looking for seasoned Account Managers across all Industries.

As an Account Manager, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the sales lifecycle and will be intensely involved in new business development and Account management portfolio for existing Accounts.


  • Manage relationships with key client personnel and CXOs and CXO -1 within the client’s organization while understanding their organizational culture.
  • Sell concepts and influence the client to award business based on capability and track record in similar situations.
  • Leverage FPT’s unique value proposition to shape opportunities for the customer and increase the share of revenues.
  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to define strategies that can help enable favorable outcomes.
  • Create sales plan, pursuit plan/business pipeline with leadership to ensure target achievements and hunting new business.
  • Conduct client presentations, workshops, and drive pricing and SOW negotiations with the client.
  • Work closely with the Presales, COE and Delivery team to build customized solutions pitches for the target account.
  • Provide necessary input for building alliances with relevant product/service vendors
  • Provide leadership to the client during the initial phases of an engagement, follow up and ensure total client satisfaction through the life cycle of the relationship.


  • Track-record of successfully selling (farming) with experience in the strategic/consultative sales process
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Farming and extensive work experience with IT service industries
  • Experience in selling Digital, Cloud, Data, AI, Lowcode and Automation services
  • Proven track record of achieving quarterly & annual targets
  • Knowledge of industry trends as applicable
  • Able to quickly understand and discuss a client’s business environment and add value by addressing business challenges
  • Entrepreneurial approach to new opportunities, able to design cross-selling proposals
