The Impact You’ll Have

Our Merchandising team partners with our client eBay to produce a range of tailored shopping experiences across the site.

As Junior Digital Merchandiser, you’ll support the merchandising team on all digital content administration. You will be responsible for prioritising merchandising based on conversion and business performance for promotional and seasonal campaigns and shops.

This is a 12 month FTC.

Day to day:

  • Support Merchandisers to execute onsite campaigns and weekly promotional activity by uploading creative assets and copy according to brief
  • QA all campaigns and events to ensure consistency and accuracy across various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and email, d/Web, m/Web, and App
  • Support the Lead Merchandiser with coordination of regular weekly execution as part of the business-as-usual promotional activity – taking ownership of your own responsibilities
  • Performing visual merchandising, updating inventories, and prioritising best sellers
  • Regularly check stock levels in curated inventory listings to ensure accuracy
  • To conduct regular performance analysis and feeding insight, and proposed actions into Lead Merchandisers and clients for weekly trading reports
  • Supporting Merchandisers with trend research and competitor reviews
  • To support the senior team with administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Experience E-Commerce and/ website content management desirable
  • An interest in merchandising & retail
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • A fast learner, the ability to quickly grasp new processes or learn new systems and tools
  • Demonstrable experience in proactivity
  • A good eye for style and retail trends and an interest in current and upcoming trends
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritise, meet deadlines under pressure; has a good sense of urgency and measurement of risk
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The tenacity to learn and grow
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability
