Job Description

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end to end execution and delivery for clients marketing communications (email, SMS and App Push). They will be a source of escalation and along with other account team members will manage the program & campaign production and project workflow while working with cross functional teams and identify areas of opportunity across workflow efficiencies.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Partner with the client and 3rd part vendors to ensure all campaign deliverables are provided accurately and on-time
  • Lead point of contact for all campaign needs and net new requests
  • Communicate internal team members to ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy as well as ensuring cross-training across the task matrix is being addressed
  • Deliver on custom projects and process changes as client requests and needs evolve
  • Act as a point of escalation to internal team members
  • Program and Project Management:
  • You will be the day-to-day contact for our client contact responsible for ensuring work is completed
  • Lead projects and ensure that all internal parties are updated appropriately and in a timely fashion
  • Be held accountable to managing deadlines, approvals, and business requirements are met
  • Conduct status calls, send follow-up notes, and provide status reports on a daily and/or weekly basis
  • Ensuring all client communication is succinct, accurate, and on time
  • Maintaining an excellent relationship with peers and peer groups internally
  • Gather business requirements, identify needs, and scope programs to ensure quality programs exceed client’s expectations and industry standards
  • Voice of the client:
  • Know and understand your client’s business intimately and be an effective spokesperson for the client representing their point of view and concerns
  • Understand your client’s business and work to identify sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Platform Expertise:
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of platforms so you can support clients, know the right questions to ask, and answer questions

Preferred Skills and Traits:

  • 8+ Years of professional experience. You have a background in and solid understanding of email marketing, digital marketing, retention marketing, and cloud based technology
  • You have ESP or related agency / client management experience
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and effective communication skills
  • You know how to manage project and client budgets, and have successfully obtained new contracts
  • You have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • You earned a BA/BS with a concentration in marketing or business
  • You have the ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • You are proactive and take initiative with internal stakeholders and clients
