Job Description

The Collection Analyst provides financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate management of customer open receivable accounts. This position will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts and the key metrics, such as timely deduction resolution and collection efforts, set forth by management to achieve corporate In addition, this position supports back up for all AR department functions which includes cash application, master data maintenance, credit and collection activities. To be successful the candidate needs to be experienced in accounts receivable, researching and resolving discrepancies, and working internal and external customers/vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Heavy phone and email contact with internal and external customers
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries from customers
  • Manage call flow from forwarded inquiries
  • Support the process of master data maintenance functions for customers/vendors
  • Support role for department staff
  • Complete reporting requirements as directed by management
  • Other task as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Accuracy and detail-oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, problem solving and analysis
  • Proactive, innovative and adaptable
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel, including formulas and v-lookup
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience in Account Receivable/Database Maintenance/Customer Service
  • Long hours sitting, standing and utilizing office equipment/computers
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds on occasion
