Job Description

• Provide deployment advisory services, such as best practice design advice, and configurations, among other things.

• Assist clients with testing and troubleshooting during the deployment process. As needed, escalate to higher levels of help.

• Replicate client concerns in order to validate problems and document methods to duplicate for the Support, Engineering, and Operations teams

• Become a Zscaler cloud service expert through self-study, company training, and a desire to excel. Zscaler Certified Preferred.

• Other duties or projects, as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous job experience in a similar role (at least 3 years) (e.g. Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, or Support Engineer).

• Technical bachelor’s degree and/or similar work experience are the very minimum requirements.

• An in-depth grasp of enterprise networking and security concepts and practices.

• Capable of learning and supporting cutting-edge technology while transitioning between different contexts.

• Understanding how to negotiate technical and architectural conversations is really important.

• Comfortable conversing with business people about technical topics/issues and conversing with technical people about business topics/issues Capable of communicating difficult ideas in easy terms in order to reach a wider audience.

• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities both internally and externally inside and across organizational boundaries.

• Professional expertise architecting and running solutions based on (in descending order of preference): Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM are the hypervisors with which you should be familiar (in that order).

• Certifications in the industry, such as the CCIE, JNCIE, CISSP, or CCSP, are desirable.

• familiarity with identities and access management technologies such as LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory

• Knowledge of the IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS protocols is required.

• Familiarity with the concepts of proxy and SSL

• Familiarity with the management of the IIS Web Server

•Adaptable to a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, and GNU/Linux

• Knowledge of network debugging tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Traceroute, and MTR, as well as practical experience with them

• Experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is desired.
