We’re in search of a talented Director of Communications to join our Marketing Team. The position is based out of Addison/Farmers Branch, TX (across the street from the Galleria Mall) and would join a team to support 125+ gym locations that are currently open or coming soon across nationwide.

Responsibilities for the person in the role include:
- Serve as main point of contact, preparing and managing all internal communications needs across the organization.
- Work cross functionally with Operations, Human Resources, Growth & Planning and Sales Team Members to support consistent and timely internal and external communications around company initiatives, gym improvements and growth.
- Develop internal and external communications plans to support marketing communications initiatives across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels as needed.
- Identify tools and technologies to better structure companywide communications.
- Ensure all communications follow brand guidelines including tone and voice and that communications are adapted based on channel and audience as needed.
- Create templates and processes for internal communications across the company.
- Work collaboratively as part of a growing marketing team focused on implementing the company’s overarching internal and external communications strategy.
- Opportunity to manage 2+ Team Members.
Our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
- 7+ years’ work experience including as a leader in communications.
- Experience in the fitness industry and/or a strong interest in health and fitness.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under multiple tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while following direction as needed, and can manage projects from inception to completion, providing updates to upper management and stakeholders.
- Experience regularly working and interacting with multiple Team Members, upper management, vendors, and partners in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office skills, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Great sense of humor, upbeat attitude, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
