Achieving growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales opportunities:

  • Build relationships with potential customers through good communication in meetings, presentations, documentation and other means.
  • Provide complete and appropriate solutions for customers in order to create revenue growth, increase pipeline, customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Develop strategic business development plans, to map out potential customer growth targets, long-term plans and identify opportunities.
  • Contribute, as part of the sales team, to the achievement of the sales target set for the division.
  • Win the targeted projects and customer service contracts by managing the sales process and customer interaction, drawing on the wider sales teams as required to accomplish a successful sale.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Principal Accountabilities

  • Identify and secure sales opportunities for potential new Customer within the Northern Europe Market:
  • PO and FO contracts
  • Spares Packages
  • MU projects opportunities
  • Support BS sales managers on new customer PO and FO contracts enquiries
  • Training courses
  • Own the opportunity from lead identification through proposal submission and final negotiation with the client
  • Ensure that all proposals are developed and submitted in line with the Dematic NE Business Winning process
  • Support MU proposal team and PO/FO team with their leads in advisory and \ or subject matter expert capacities
  • Build targeted pipeline of opportunities aligned to CS business strategy
  • Establish contact with new customers to build long term relationships
  • Implement a successful win/bid strategy for each project opportunity
  • Maintain/improve win rate target

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Proven experience and understanding of the automated materials handling industry
  • Conversant Microsoft Office Suite
  • Conversant with Dematic’s/Industry products and systems
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully achieving against a sales target.
  • Demonstrable strategy, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to create and implement short and long term strategies.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation and with new and existing customers.
  • A proven track record of personally securing aftermarket contracts.
  • Has gained substantial experience securing new contracts through the successful submission of tender documents, ITTs/RFQs.
  • Be a strong team player, committed to the business, flexible and tenacious as required
