In this essential role, you’ll also investigate opportunities for improving the platform, and provide feedback to Product Management on technical aspects of the products. What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement features at scale.
• Investigate issues & fix bugs.
• Provide technical insights on how the platform can be improved.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Just designing solutions. This is a hands-on role where proving your solutions with working and scalable code is needed.
• Performing non-technical tasks. No customer-facing or administrative work around here! We want you to spend your time solving the toughest technical solutions, not wading through piles of paperwork.

Site Reliability Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Clear, concise design and implementation of a feature.
• A solution that shows thinking beyond just the current iteration of the feature.

Basic Requirements

• Solid coding skills and willingness to take on any language.
• Thinking from a feature perspective instead of a purely a technical problem to solve.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud Computing, Containers, and Kubernetes from a system developer or SRE point of view.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to a non-deeply technical audience.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience with building and maintaining tools for developers.
• Experience with using Infrastructure as Code to manage a fleet of Kubernetes clusters.

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
