Job purpose

Compound’s production team is looking to grow, and we are looking for a coordinator to join our team. The Production Coordinator’s key role will be to assist the team with day-to-day tasks, supplier management, and product-related tasks. Updating internal systems, communicating with suppliers, and working closely with cross-functional internal teams. Ultimately the coordinator will collaborate with the team ensuring that the production department meets their internal goals.


– Organize, document, and catalog product samples.

– Collect and organize feedback about product samples and relay feedback directly to suppliers in a timely manner.

– Track and update Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and product calendars, ensuring all information about a product is accurate and up to date.

– Manage manufacturer timelines to ensure product launch deadlines are hit.

– Oversee sample “check-in / check-out” system, ensuring product samples are readily available for necessary e-commerce and campaign photography.

– Assist with new product/design review and analysis, working closely with the Production Manager.

– Assist in supplier sourcing and onboarding.

– Data Entry using PLM software and calendars.

Skills/ Qualifications

– A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or college/university education in the product development field. Experience in the jewelry industry is an asset.

– Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain operations.

– Proficient skills in Excel, Word, Google Suite.

– Knowledge of PLM systems is helpful.

– Strong and effective communication skills. Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner when offering production updates to department heads.

– Adaptable with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing project priority levels.

– Must be able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter. Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, test and learn continuously.

Place of Work

Hybrid, remote work with flexibility for some office days, with the goal of returning to the office 3 days a week.
