Collection Pot is an entrepreneurial, fast-growth FinTech business. Focused on bringing group collecting into the 21st century. Collection Pot can be used for any occasion where a group of people get together virtually to create a collection. It could be to celebrate the arrival of a baby, raise money for a charity fundraiser or community project, a colleague leaving the business, a honeymoon collection, a significant birthday, or plan a weekend break with friends.

We are looking for an In-House UX/UI Designer to bring their expert knowledge in UX & Design best practices, principles, and methodologies to our platform.

You will be:

Designing flows and experiences from the first concept phase to high-fidelity mock-ups, ready for development.
Be a champion for the user and apply user-centred design principles to your work
Work with (and challenge!) our commercial, product and development teams to oversee the user experience of new features and products from idea to launch.
Be part of our testing processes – adjusting and updating designs along the way.
Look after our brand guidelines, be the voice of the brand, and keep others on track with the use of brand assets and designs.
Support the production of ad hoc design requirements – pitches, presentations, banners, print, digital, and anything else we might need.

You will have:

A decent amount of UI experience including interaction design and responsive design for Websites and Web Apps.
A portfolio that highlights your design skills and thought processes – should feature ideas, wireframes, and Hi-Fi outputs.
A great eye for detail and experience in creating pixel-perfect designs.
Understand “micro-copy” writing and the impact of words on user behaviour and design
Experience working in a Start-Up FinTech, Payments, or other Tech company.
The ability to balance amazing UIs with technical constraints and user/business needs.
Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe CS, Zeplin, and any other tools you would like to work with.
