Website ClearScore
Are you looking for a Job at ClearScore in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
in 2022. Then following info is about this job.
About the job
ClearScore is searching for a Senior Content Designer to join our incredible design team. As a Senior Content Designer you will be creating structured content and copy for our users, as part of our product. You’ll research, draft, test, iterate and refine the content as part of the design, supported by the content and design team.
The Senior Content Designer will be collaborating with other disciplines every day, working together to understand the issues, opportunities and requirements as we grow. You’ll be working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to capture their thoughts and requirements that will inform your work, as well as insights and data analysts to assess live content. You’ll lead workshops and working sessions as part of this, as well as report back to senior stakeholders on findings, and present and contextualise your work around the business.
You’ll also be troubleshooting content problems, shaping our content style guide and documentation, creating copy examples, involved in usability testing, research, and more to support the content design function at ClearScore.
What We’re Looking For
- A pragmatic, experienced content designer – you have seen and worked through the whole life-cycle of a project.
- A mind for process – but a value for outcomes more than output.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail, but also the ability to see beyond line-editing to bigger issues with content.
- Deep interest in user-centred content as part of a product. This is a product content design role. We believe our brand is core to our product but, while your work will shape and reflect our brand, this isn’t a role that involves writing copy for marketing, external campaigns or long-form editorial copy.
- Able to take and act upon critique of their work and give critique of work to others. Experience in discovery work through to post-delivery.
- Experience of usability testing and A/B testing.
- Experience with web and product UI copy and microcopy.
- Experience of working with multi-disciplinary and/or agile teams.
- Experience running workshops for multiple SMEs and stakeholders, as well as your team.
- Experience maintaining a content governance processes.
- Someone who wants to develop and broaden their skills throughout the content design process, and help develop these skills in others.
Nice To Haves
- Experience of prototyping tools, and Sketch and/or Figma.
- Experience with web optimization and working knowledge of SEO requirements (for our supporting website).
- Experience creating customer help content and maintaining a knowledge base.
What You’ll Get From Us
Support, direction and opportunity to develop your skillset as a content designer and a career progression path created for content design. Tailored in-house training and the opportunity to attend conferences and do external courses to expand on this.
