Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) has led grant-funded work in Armenia for over a decade. It is our belief that every child deserves world class care from Yerevan to Hollywood. The Armenia Program at CHLA is looking for a passionate project manager to join our team and help direct the future of the Online Pediatric Educational Network (OPEN) and Avetis. The Program Specialist will ensure a smooth workflow between all of our stakeholders both in the US and abroad.

The primary focus will be managing the production of educational content. This includes:

  • Overseeing translations
  • Supervising course construction from English in Armenian
  • Supporting international medical conferences

This role requires flexibility to help with all aspects of the program

Example Projects Would Include

  • Publishing a bi-weekly newsletter working with senior CHLA faculty
  • Attending and organizing the US contributions to international conferences and workshops
  • Managing a multi-year partnership with the Armenian Pediatric Association

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor in relevant field
  • Software: Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Video Conferencing
  • Experience: 1-5 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Project management certification
  • Language: Intermediate written Armenian
  • Software: WordPress, HTML/CSS, Asana
  • Expertise: Public health research and/or educational design

Additional Notes: Working hours will include early mornings and/or late evenings to coordinate across time zones. Must be a resident of California. Must have the ability to travel internationally up to two times per year.
