Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Chief Technology Officer – Python / React / AWS

Salary: $300-400K + Bonus

Location: Must be willing to commute onsite to the location M-F.

Our client is a market leader in their space. They service mission critical industries throughout the US. The platform handles millions of process requests per day and continues to grow rapidly. In this role, you will manage our product teams responsible for developing our product strategy and roadmaps, as well as lead the technology organization including Engineering, CloudOps and Security.

Ideally, we are seeking a former software engineer that grew into leadership and and set the course of direction for this data driven AI/ML organization. Innovation is the key.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead Software Engineering, Data Teams, Product Management, CloudOps and Security Teams

  • Work with Executive Leadership to develop & manage product strategy, roadmaps and technical execution plans

  • Collaborate closely with customers and customer-facing teams to discover and prioritize high ROI problems-to-solve

  • Establish repeatable and effective operating models, methodologies, and processes between Product & Engineering for sustained velocity and quality

Attract top product and engineering talent to scale the globally distributed team

  • Establish clear Product and Engineering metrics/KPIs that drive rapid business results

  • Deliver risk assessment, management, and identifying mitigation associated with ongoing technology operations and planned product releases

  • Define changes to product/software architecture to innovate with new solutions while improving system performance and scalability

  • Identify points of failure and work with the engineering team to build resiliency as table stakes in our services

Minimum Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior product and engineering management experience

• Experience managing a distributed team of 30+

• Experience quickly scaling product & engineering teams

• Strong technical background and continued technical depth

• Experience building and supporting a complex enterprise toolset in CRM, DMS, BPM, BI, GRC or similar category

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams of 25+

• Solid knowledge of Python, React, AWS

• Experience starting new offices and managing across multiple time zones
