About the job
Help Brass City Harvest by speaking with a member of their organization on the phone for 1 hour about their human resources needs.
Brass City Harvest is a 501(c)(3) Community Development Corporation whose mission is focused on community and workforce development through the implementation of urban agriculture. Programs supporting the mission include urban farms and greenhouses, aquaculture and hydroponic programs, community supported agriculture, nutrition education and healthy cooking classes for a wide demographic, and a network of farmers’ markets. The organization is committed to the construction of a three-phase food hub complex in the city’s poorest neighborhood, in partnership with the City of Waterbury and funded through a bond from the State of Connecticut.
