Cambridge Online Education are looking to welcome an experienced Project Manager into the team for 12 months (maternity cover) to support us in delivering on our mission to provide outstanding educational experiences and launch 50 online courses for professionals by 2025. We’re a dynamic, fast growing team of creative minds in need of a self-starter to lead team collaboration with academics from the University of Cambridge, monitor course design and development and ensure we launch our world class courses on time and to budget.

The Role

You’re the person who makes everything run like clockwork. You will use superb project management and excellent communication skills, to keep the production of our online courses on track.

You juggle scope, innovation, time and resource for every project to ensure we maintain a high-quality product, challenge ourselves to think bigger and achieve our launch dates.

You keep a bird’s eye view but stay grounded in the development process and are not afraid get into the detail to problem solve help find plan B where it’s needed.

You’re the control room and help desk rolled into one. You lead and facilitate all internal and external communications, forging strong relationships with and between creative project teams of designers, developers, producers and editors, and Cambridge University Academics.

About You

You have a degree (or equivalent experience), have experience managing concurrent projects and know your RACI matrix from your RAID log. If you don’t already have PRINCE or AGILE, you’re looking for a team to support you in getting that extra qualification.

You’re a wizard with standard Microsoft programmes and know your way around scheduling and resource management software like Smartsheet and Trello.
