Business Objectives
- To ensure the ongoing compliance of the trade and transaction reporting obligations of the firm by enhancing the control environment to enable the complete, accurate and timely reporting to global regulators
- To deliver new trade and transaction reporting obligations, changes to existing obligations and remediate existing non-compliance issues
- Developing strategic front to back reconciliations to ensure the integrity of transaction data
The Successful Candidate Will
- Manages a medium to large-sized or multiple small teams of project managers who are the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for projects that are of medium scale.
- The team is responsible for end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issueisk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation.
- Serves as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of medium scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Manages client expectations and ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies.
- Conducts status meetings and facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of more complex issues.
Skills And Qualifications
- B achelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
- Regulatory Reporting experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to identify key issues, to summarise them efficiently, and to escalate them in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships, confident communicating at all levels with key decision makers in the departments across locations.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure
- Experience of leading change in regulatory and trade reporting is highly desirable
- Project Management (PMP) or Prince2 qualifications preferred
- Agile delivery certification preferred
- Confident in delivering succinct and high-quality updates to senior stakeholders in the form of written materials or presentations
- Ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships, confident communicating at all levels with key decision makers in the departments across locations
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure
- Direct experience of line management, coaching and developing teams
- Excellent written and communication skills
