Slitter Operator Shift Hours: Employee will train on day shift 6:00am-6:00pm for 2-3 months until training completed then converting to night shift 6:00pm-6:00am. Expected switch to night shift in March 2022.

This position will have a differential added when shift is made from day to night.


  • Cut and splice material throughout the run as necessary, with assistance
  • Ensure that all rollers are cleaned and free of any contaminating residue
  • Comply with all job related ISO quality procedures and customer specifications
  • Prior to loading the machine, review the production order
  • Troubleshoot and resolve web and quality problems
  • Report material issues/defects and/or equipment issues to respective Supervisor
  • Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures


Education, Experience, Skills

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Basic computer skills helpful
  • Basic knowledge of scan guns and/or inventory control system
  • Forklift Certification Preferred
  • 6 Months of previous experience and training

  • Must be able to push/pull, lift/carry up to 25 pounds, climb or balance, turn, bend, stand/walk, sit, work in confined or tight spaces, run, kneel, reach, handle, finger, speak/talk, sensory (hear, feel, see, smell)
