The Opportunity

Due to continued business growth and development of the Advisory we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager for the North West & Yorkshire Advisory team. You will be working on transport projects in the highways and rail sectors.

You will be responsible for a variety of project management activities with an emphasis on programme management and project control.

In conjunction with senior members across multidisciplinary teams, the requirements are as follows:

  • Based in North West and Yorkshire region.
  • Report to the Arup Project Lead
  • Provide Project Management Support to delivery teams in the following areas:
    • Project and Programme management
    • Procurement
    • Change Control
    • Actions / Issues management
    • Cost Management
    • Contract and Procurement Management

Key Experience

  • Infrastructure and/or major buildings project management experience preferably both pre-construction and construction phase.
  • be chartered or near chartership from a recognised institution; and
  • knowledge and understanding of design process for major projects
  • Degree qualified, preferably in project management, engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Project Management training such as Prince 2/MSP/APM or relevant qualification
